Strikethrough

Wrap text in two tildes: ~~like this~~.

You type
The meeting is on ~~Tuesday~~ Wednesday.
You get

The meeting is on Tuesday Wednesday.

Strikethrough is part of GitHub Flavored Markdown, which almost every modern Markdown app supports. A few very old tools show the tildes as plain text.

Tip The S button on the toolbar adds it for you.
Write Markdown without memorizing it.

Prosedown shows your document styled as you type, with the Markdown one click away. This guide is built in: press F1.
